How to Use Diagnostic Assessments
These assessments help you quickly identify what skills your students know and what theyāre ready to learn next.
Use the results to:
⢠form small groups with similar skill needs
⢠decide which phonics skill to start teaching
⢠determine how often groups should meet
You donāt need to give every assessment to every student. Start with the section that best matches the skills your students are currently working on and adjust from there.
Once you identify student needs, place students with similar skill levels into small groups and begin instruction using the lesson library.
